Evelyn Boswell has been charged with leading diversity, equity and inclusion efforts throughout the NAIC, including oversight of the newly formed DE&I Council.  She also supports the efforts of the NAIC’s new Special Committee on Race and Insurance.  In this FREE SILA Foundation webinar Ms. Boswell will discuss the goals, activities, and progress made so far in DE&I by one of our industry’s leading standard-setting organizations.

Evelyn Boswell, former Human Resources (HR) professional with over 20 years of experience with major Kansas City organizations, provides expertise to the cause of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) for immediate solutions to today’s conversations on the topic in the workplace. Her former employers include Hallmark Cards Inc., Government Employees Health Association (GEHA), the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Evelyn has recently presented Implementing Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and provided a webinar, Introduction to Cultural Equity, for Folk Alliance International (FAI). She received her master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University in Kansas City, Missouri and her bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is originally from Blytheville, Arkansas.
