Please join us for our second annual fireside chat with the outgoing North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) President, Andrew Hartnett, Deputy Commissioner for the great state of Iowa. Deputy Commissioner Hartnett has served as NASAA’s President since September of 2022.

Andrew Hartnett is the First Deputy Insurance Commissioner in the Iowa Insurance Division and the immediate past president of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA). Andrew brings to these roles experience as a state securities regulator in two jurisdictions, as an Assistant Attorney General, and several years in private practice representing investment advisers and broker dealers.
As Deputy Commissioner, Andrew supervises the Securities and Regulated Industries and Product and Producer Licensing Bureaus. Prior to his promotion as Deputy Commissioner, Andrew directed the activities of the Securities and Regulated Industries Bureau.
Margie Webber currently serves as a Regulatory Director of Compliance focusing on the securities and insurance industries for RegEd. Margie has served as President of the SILA from 2007 to 2009, she was a member of SILA’s Advisory Board from 1995 to 2007, she has also served on FINRA’s Licensing & Registration Council, Registration and Qualifications Subcommittee, and she currently serves as SILA’s Governance Officer on its Executive Board of Directors. She’s a Steering Committee member on SILA’s Securities Industry Subgroup and chairs SILA’s NASAA Engagement Task Force.
