100 Years ago, a fire policy covering someone’s home was a one-page document. Today, a homeowners’ policy can be 30-40 pages (or more). To make it even more interesting there are states that require insurance policies achieve a readability score and prohibit policies that use complex sentence structure. Yet everyone still has trouble reading and understanding insurance policies. What’s covered? What’s excluded? What do I need to do when there is a loss?
Join us for a FREE educational webinar taught by Patrick Wraight where we will explore how to read and understand an insurance policy. This session will:
- Discuss the fundamental guidelines for reading an insurance policy
- Interpret the words used in an insurance policy
- Demonstrate the importance of conjunctions in lists in an insurance policy
